Beloved Daughter

Beloved Daughter of God

Why are you so far from home?

Did you think the grass was greener

That wasn’t watered by His blood?

He was there when all the pain came

And everyone walked away

Who could be more loving?

Whose heart could be more safe?

You walked away from everything you knew was right

You walked away from Him too

But He never left you

You are still beloved

Come home, dear friend

In your heart, come home

But if you run and run and wander

Get tattered and get torn

Jesus is always waiting

For His lost children he’s looking still

Come home, Beloved Daughter

To His heart, come home
